Detailed Features

Your Assets at your fingertips

Energy based Availability

If I have X capacity and generating Y power with wind speed of Z, are my assets generating output as per OEM specification.

In simpler words, ignoring the time based factor, how much of energy is produced compared to how much should have been generated as per wind speed?

In this the denominator – ‘How much should have been generated’ is directly relational to the wind speed. Marking this as a critical success factor, our product first focusses on deriving this before calculating the energy based availability.

To calculate wind speed, we consider the nearest and best possible way by looking at various options – primary turbine, secondary turbine, mast, average wind speed of operating turbines and then turbine anemometer.

Once the loss is detected, then the cause for losses are detected by categorising the causes. All this is a digital process that can be viewed online or a report can be generated on daily basis.

Key Benefits – Prevent Revenue leakage, prioritise maintenance activities, increase ROI

Remote/Live Monitoring

An active mode of monitoring assets using a web browser, tablets and mobile app – specially for people in the control centre. This active mode can depict all assets configured for streaming within the IPP.

DAIVA is configurable to send platform alerts on mobile devices and also mail the performance reports on regular basis – thus making it useful for pro-active and active monitoring.

Provides a map based view of asset distribution across geographies, thus giving an option to zoom in and zoom out of specific interest areas.

Dashboards

Filter out the canned reports and configure dashboards specific to each logged-in user – for a site engineer, it makes sense if he is shown site specific dashboard rather than details across the IPP investments.

MTBF, MTTR, losses, wind speed trends, alarms, grid failures, substation status, communication failures, voltage failures are some of the key analytics that can be seen in operations dashboard.

Easing Operations and Maintenance

Spares Inventory Management

One of the key drivers for achieving both efficient and fast operations at an affordable cost for any organisation is to manage it’s assets and spares inventory.

For deployed assets we provide –

Maintain asset and spares stock at each sites thus enabling consumption tracking, procurement planning, reordering spares at prespecified thresholds and link this repository to maintenance schedules.

This site based approach of spares inventory helps in reducing time for managing inventory and also tracks waste disposal and repair tracking.

An updated inventory system provides a facility of inventory audit at any time of the year and assists in spares procurement.

We also support maintaining assets as an inventory which can further be used in scheduling maintenance activities and in insurance management. With this assets and spares inventory, the platform provides a holistic view to plan any maintenance activity across all sites.

Maintenance Schedules

Acknowledging the importance of planning preventive and corrective maintenance, our platform supports planning preventive maintenance for the complete year and associating the maintenance schedules with specific assets or sites.

This enables accounting the spares and giving global visibility of downtime and also helps in better coordination between onsite and offsite operations and maintenance teams. An additional benefit being – maintaining the asset maintenance history perpetually.

Ticketing System

Heavy investments in assets and the need of 24/7 operations drives the fact that there needs to be efficient management of assets faults.

Our platform supports auto creation of tickets and manual ticket creation. Auto-creation of tickets is triggered by our platform based on certain parameters that cross the threshold. Auto created tickets are then categorized, prioritized and assigned to relevant teams, apart from notifying relevant teams by SMS, emails, browser notifications and mobile apps notification.

Based on various monitored parameters, the offsite and onsite operations team can create tickets to ensure improved efficiency levels, improved formal communication mechanisms and to maintain digital audit of service levels. These digital audit of service levels can result in improving operations team efficiencies.

Multi-OEM Support

It’s not rare that investors have assets (wind and solar) from different vendors in their portfolio. All these assets which need to be managed in the same way on the same platform. One of our platform USP is the ability to interface with assets from any asset OEMs.

Based on the interfaces available by various asset OEMs, our plugins will ensure seamless streaming of data on to our platform.

Modular Design

With varying priorities of our customers, we are often asked about the feasibility of deploying certain platform features in their IT landscape due to their strategic vision.

Our platform has been specifically architected to cater to such deployment scenarios to the maximum possible extent. Our deployments include the complete stack, only monitoring solution, only maintenance hub, just the inventory feature stack and a standalone ticketing system with integrations to 3rd party IT applications.

Completely Customisable

Integration with existing IT landscape, customised reports, enterprise specific workflows, additional features have been the drivers for delivering a customised platform to our customers.

In providing such professional services of our platform for each customer, we are positioning ourselves in believing that customized experiences will drive relevance and customer value – something which we are very passionate about.

Predicting Outcomes

Our tagline of ‘Powering Insights’ is the result of our platform capability of predict outcomes based on mathematical models based on domain knowledge which is proving to be a patentable feature.

Potential asset failure, trends of various parameters, characteristics based asset segmentation are some of the platform features that assist our customers.

Secured Data

Our platform is based on the industry leader in cloud solutions – Google. We evaluated and choose Google Cloud to meet our fundamental requirements of Big Data and security.

Google cloud infra has been certified by ISO 27001 (Managing Information Risks), ISO 27017 (Controlling cloud based security), ISO 27018 (protecting personal data), SOC 2 (controls over security, availability and confidentiality), CSA Star (securing cloud computing environments) and many other industry standards.

In the recent report, Forrester Research names Google Cloud a Leader in Public Cloud Platform Native Security Wave. The details of the report can be seen at - https://cloud.google.com/forrester-public-cloud-platform-native-security-wave/

Our operational model of the platform is such that the deployment is specific to each customer and the cloud account is owned by the customer enterprise thus putting the customer in direct control of it’s cloud assets and also ensuring that their asset data stays with them.

Regulatory Compliance

Environmental, Health & Safety

We understand that our customers intend and maintain consistently high operational standards for environmental, health and safety (EHS) considerations in their quest for compliance and in providing safe work environments.

Towards providing a complete solution for asset management, our platform provides facility to plan, record incidents, capture investigation reports, perform analysis and plan course-correction maintenance activities.

Forecasting and Scheduling

In lieu with the regulatory requirement for forecasting and scheduling, our platform supports analysis and report generation based on the data collected from various sites of the investor.

JMR and Invoice Generation

The last mile of having the assets for any investor is the recording of power supplied at each sub stations. This is the crucial point for revenue realization.

Our platform supports recording of this reading on a mobile device with other parameters like people present, GPS coordinates and the date-time of the reading. Once recorded, the invoice will be generated based on a template which will then be ready to be sent to SLDC nodes.
