How we Began


Nova Global was born as a legitimate child of serendipity – the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way. – very similar to how Uber and AirbnB were born, but under different circumstances.

Once upon a time, when the bigges of renewable energy domains were focussed on creating machines for greener energy, not much focus was given to the maintenance part of them. The investors who invested heavily on these renewable assets from multiple OEMs were left high and dry with the non-availability of a one-stop-solution to monitor and manage these multi-vendor assets. The operations and maintenance (O&M) team were bearing the brunt of not having a handy mobile friendly tool to manage their assets in scope. Moreover the corporate O&M team found it difficult to communicate with the on-field O&M team to manage their assets.

Nova Global team, which was experiencing these gaps, huddled together to devise a product that would solve these problems to a large extent. After discussions about untried methods, we decided to approach this challenge in a pragmatic way.

A roster of celebrated subject matter experts took supporting roles in this idea incubation stage – including SCADA engineers, linesman, operations staff, risk averse investors, Operations managers, the money people (finance team), the logistics people and the people who could architect the solution – the nerds.

With design sprints in the offswing coupled with rational thinking and bothersome pub bills, we implemented a prototype.

We realized if we could articulate this value-add properly, we might actually be able to make a real connection of investors and O&M team. Why can’t we simply change what needs to be changed?

So we met a different set of investors and O&M teams to showcase our solution in the right and meaningful context. What happened next, is, our product was born.


What We Do


Through our flagship product, we make powerful connections between the investor and his renewable assets. In creating such digital relationships, we have extended the relationship to all stakeholders of the assets, with operations and maintenance team being the second biggest gainer, first being the investors followed by the regulatory compliance intellectuals.

How We Do


When we started, we did not want to be just another company, we aimed higher and sought to be the challenger instead of the best, thus indirectly putting us in the trajectory of leaders.
